Since 1958, we have been an anchor in Hartland, Wisconsin. As times change and theatre evolves, we keep our eyes on the horizon but our feet firmly rooted in Lake Country. What was once a small group of volunteers passionate about live theatre has evolved into a flourishing performing arts organization – Lake Country Playhouse – with a historic home on Capitol Drive. Led fearlessly by a devoted board of directors and volunteer staff, Lake Country Playhouse is ready to make a transformative impact in downtown Hartland.

We give credit to you, our neighbors and patrons, because you challenge us to expand and innovate to keep pace with the vitality of our community. It’s our turn to give back, in the form of a vibrant theatre with open doors to everyone.

We are raising funds to create the future of Lake Country Playhouse - a welcoming and accessible home for theatre in Hartland – through the enhancement of our physical building, fortification of our artistry, and the bolstering of artistic reserve funds to ensure we remain nimble and fiscally responsible.
