Disney’s Descendants Design & Build Workshop - June 15-19 | 2-5:30pm | Ages 9+

Go behind the scenes in this hands-on, week-long workshop inspired by Disney’s Descendants! Students will design and build props, set pieces, and costume elements while working as a creative team. Best of all—Techies creations will appear on stage in the live Descendants production this July!

Take center stage in a week-long musical theatre adventure where students explore songs and scenes from our favorite musicals! Camps meet Monday - Friday for 2 hours each day. Concludes with a short-performance on Friday of each week.

So you think you can be a Plastic? Learn what it takes to put on Mean Girls. This immersive, performance-focused program gives students a behind-the-scenes and on-the-stage look at what it really takes to bring a show to life.

Lighting, sound, props, costumes, backstage flow, and what really happens behind the scenes.

Script analysis, character choices, comedic timing, and improv inspired by iconic Mean Girls moments.

On Wednesdays We Dance | Dance & Movement - August 3-7 | 2:30-4:30pm | Ages 10+
Choreography, musical theatre movement, ensemble work, and confidence onstage.

Find Your Voice | Music & Vocal Performance - August 10-14 | 2:30-4:30pm | Ages 10+
Learning songs, harmonies, character-driven singing, and performance technique.

HELPFUL HINTS:

1. OK to repeat! - choose classes based on the skills desired, it’s OK to take a class more than once as the materials used to teach the concepts will change each session.

2. Age ranges are guidelines - If you believe your child should be considered for a class outside of the listed age range based on their prior experience please contact education@lakecountryplayhousewi.org

3. Class times/days are subject to change from one session to the next based on a variety of factors, or in the the case of low enrollment groups of the same subject may be combined. Classes must have at least 6 students enrolled to run.
