Intro To Acting: A Journey Into Performance is a dynamic and hands-on introduction to the world of acting, designed for beginners who want to explore the craft of performance in a fun, supportive environment. In this intensive course, you'll dive into the core elements of acting, from building a character to connecting emotionally with the material, all while discovering the power of your own voice and body on stage. Throughout the class, we’ll focus on key areas of acting:

Character Work: Learn how to develop fully-realized characters by exploring backstory, objectives, and relationships. You’ll experiment with creating unique personas and discovering the depth of your character’s motivations.

Emotional Connection: Explore techniques for connecting deeply to the emotions of your character and the scene. Using exercises and improvisation, you’ll learn how to tap into authentic emotional responses and bring truth to your performance.

● Physicality & Presence: Acting is as much about the body as it is about the mind. We’ll work on physical expression, movement, and how to use space to enhance your performance, giving you the tools to inhabit your character fully.

By the end of this class, you can expect to have a foundational understanding of acting techniques, a stronger sense of your own creative voice, and a newfound confidence in your ability to bring characters to life. Whether you're looking to pursue acting professionally or just want to explore the craft for fun, this class will leave you feeling inspired and ready to take the next step on your acting journey
